President is responsible for every corona death – Anura Kumara Dissanayake

Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna (JVP) Leader Anura Dissanayake says that President Gotabhaya Rajapaksa should be blamed for every death and every tear caused by corona infection. He points out that strict travel restrictions must be imposed on the existing corona distribution conditions. He said that the existing Health Task Force should be restructured and that Anil Jasinghe, Paba Palihawadana and Jayaruwan Bandara, who had previously worked in this regard, should be included. He also alleges that the corona spread in the country is now under the control of a single political authority. Therefore, if it is not possible to get the support of the Opposition to control the pandemic, at least take advice from other politicians. He made these comments at a press conference held at his party headquarters.

Kosgoda Tharaka shot after a clash with police.

“Kosgoda Tharaka” also known as Tharaka Wijesekera, a member of an organized crime gang who was in police custody, was shot dead during a clash with the police. Seruwila Thero who went to India for surgery passed away of corona infection

He further explained that face masks should be worn in the vehicle only when members of different families or two unknown passengers in a private vehicle. If there are people with chronic diseases, get the necessary medicine on time. There is no prescriptive drug that will stop the flow of emotions, though their effects can be curtailed. Always wear a face mask. Follow the rules of health. Keep the card provided at the injection site to receive the second dose.

A woman who came to a house in Wellampitiya to attend a service conducted by a pastor using zoom technology has been diagnosed with the covid infection. Wellampitiya Public Health Inspector Ajith Vithanage said that the woman and her husband were identified as infected after a PCR test. Accordingly, members of six families who participated in the service have been sent for 14 days of quarantine as her associates. Police have found another family hiding in a house in Gurunagar, Jaffna after escaping to Sri Lanka from India in fishing boats.
