Cyclone has damaged houses in Vavuniya

The District Disaster Management Unit says that 10 houses have been damaged due to a cyclone that affected two villages in Vavuniya.

 Rasendrakulam and Suduwendapilavu ​​villages in Vavuniya have been damaged by a tornado caused by heavy rains last evening and only the roofs of houses and property have been damaged.

No one was injured as homeowners rushed to safety during the storm.
