Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa has instructed to complete the allocated development projects before the end of this year.
The Prime Minister has instructed the officials of the Ministry of Urban Development and Housing to complete the relevant development projects before the end of the year, instead of sending the funds allocated for development projects back to the Treasury, the Prime Minister’s Office said.
Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa has given the relevant instructions at the progress review meeting for the third quarter of the Ministry of Urban Development, Waste Disposal and Community Sanitation held at Temple Trees.
Speaking at the event, Secretary to the Ministry of Urban Development and Housing Sirinimal Perera said that the 100 urban development projects launched last July are now in full swing.
