Former Finance Minister Mangala Samaraweera has been admitted to hospital with a corona virus, hospital sources said.

He was admitted to a leading private hospital in Colombo after being diagnosed with the corona virus.

He has been admitted to the Intensive Care Unit of the hospital due to respiratory problems.
