President Gotabhaya Rajapaksa inspected the Seeduwa covid Intermediate Treatment Center yesterday (May 18) afternoon.
This treatment centre consisting of 03 wards has a capacity of 1200 patients. The Army and the Army Seva Vanitha Unit completed the construction in as little as 10 days. It is equipped with facilities that protect the mental integrity of inpatients.
The disabled war heroes have completed 2,000 sets of bed sheets for the treatment centre in as little as 24 hours. Covid infected people, who cannot be treated at home but do not show serious symptoms, will be treated here to prevent the crowding in hospitals and will draw the attention of medical staff to critically ill patients.
