The head of the Myanmar military Min Aung Hlaing is to meet international leaders.This is his first known foreign trip after the army took power with coup on 1 February.
However, more than 700 people have been killed in protests against the military government in Myanmar during past few months.
This is the first international effort to address the crisis happen in Myanmar and the talks will happen in the Indonesian capital Jakarta.
Leaders and foreign ministers from the 10-member Association of South East Asian Nations (ASEAN) will take part in the meeting.
