A police constable attached to the Nilaveli police station as been arrested for attempting sexually abuse an under aged school girl.

Police said that the girl was 13 years old and her mother was filed a case for the insident.The accused police constable was 35 years old and now interdict from the service.

Police is conducting further investigations on the insident.
