Fuel Crisis in Sri Lanka-The website introduced to register to buy fuel crashes in a few minutes

The government has introduced a licensing system to obtain fuel.

The Ministry of Power and Energy has started a website for online registration.

The website that was released yesterday to register by entering the National ID number and vehicle number to get fuel crashed within a few hours.

 The reason is that the site has received a large number of visits within a short period. Launching the website, the energy minister said that if a large number of people access the website at once, it may be blocked.

 Therefore, he requested to do the registration systematically within two or three days without panicking.
