Political Crisis in Sri Lanka-The Sri Lankan government has lost its majority in 04 seats.

With 13 MPs who represented the ruling party taking seats in the opposition in Parliament, the number of MPs supporting the ruling party has dropped to 100.

There are currently 108 MPs representing the opposition. Accordingly, the government officially maintains the majority with a gap of four seats.

   However, 135 votes were received in favor of Mr. Ranil Wickramasinghe in the secret ballot for the election of the President.
