Mrs. Julie Chang, the American Ambassador to Sri Lanka, states that Sri Lanka’s democracy is gradually being destroyed.
She also claims that this situation is due to the use of laws that do not comply with international human rights standards such as the Prevention of Terrorism Act.
She said this in a post on her Twitter account. She further says that the government is requested to confirm the right of Sri Lankans to express their opinions
