Members of Parliament Vasudeva Nanayakkara, Wimal Weerawansa and Pujya Athuraliye Rathana Thero went to the place to welcome the Chinese ship ‘Yuan Wang 5’ which arrived at Hambantota port this morning.
Amidst India’s protest, the Sri Lankan government delayed the ship’s journey for a few days.
But today the ship has reached its destination on the permission given by the Sri Lankan government to enter Hambantota port.
