The National Transport Commission says that a bus service will be started from today (01) for the transportation of school children.

 Its Director General Dr Nilan Miranda said that these buses will be added to the operation in addition to the student buses.

The Ministry of Education says that from today (01) to 05, only 3 government and government-approved private school days will be held this week.

Accordingly, schools will be held on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays.

The Ministry of Education says that on the other two days, Wednesday and Friday, activities that can be engaged in learning from home or online teaching activities have been decided.
