Electricity generation activities are being affected due to a lack of fuel. Several thermal power plants have already stopped operations due to a lack of fuel.

It is also reported that the burning oil in Sri Lanka is only enough for another 2 days.

 Based on this situation, the power cut period will have to be further increased in the future, according to sources.
