Economic and political crisis in Sri Lank- Only 500 buses in the country will be in service

Ceylon Private Bus Owners’ Association says due to the fuel crisis in the country buses will not run properly today (11).

Its chairman, Mr Gemunu Wijeratne, said that today the bus service across the island is limited to around 500 buses.

The director-general of the National Transport Commission, Dr Nilan Miranda, said that the inter-provincial bus service has also been limited due to the fuel crisis.
