Former Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa is currently staying at Sober Island in the Tannery Trincomalee Harbor, said Attorney-at-Law Nagananda Kodithuwakku.

 He also says that he is preparing to stay there and flee to a foreign country. He says that a flight from Nigeria has been stopped at the Katunayake airport and he will be going abroad.

Due to this many requests done to confiscate his passport but so far no response has been received.

He said these while joining to an interview with a youtube channel.
