Sri Lanka People’s Front (SLPP) MP Jagath Kumara stated that the President has instructed that if there is a power cut, the timing of the power cuts should be clearly announced.
He said that the relevant institutions have been informed about this and they should decide and inform it.
The President has stated this while participating in a group of ruling parties the government attempted soon.
However, he said that the government’s attempt was to protect the people without cutting off electricity.
He said this while he was speaking to the media on his way back from the meeting.
