A man went missing after bathing

 A man who went to bathe in a canal in the Meemure area in the Udadumbara Police Division has gone missing after drowning.  Police say that the man who went missing yesterday (23) afternoon had come for a picnic with another group and had been involved in the accident.  The missing person is a 30-year-old resident of Thibirigaskatuwa, Negombo.  Residents and police are searching for the missing man. Udadumbara Police are conducting further investigations.

The capital of Indonesia is changing

 Indonesia has decided to change its capital. The new capital is named Nusantara. The current capital, Jakarta, has recently been given the go-ahead by parliament to rename the city after the sinking of the city.  The new capital has been established on the island of Borneo and development began in 2019. Scientists say the city of Jakarta is sinking unexpectedly due to high groundwater levels. Its population is 10 million.

Sri lankan Rugby spring resumed after two years
