An unidentified celestial body found

Foreign media have reported about an unidentified celestial body orbiting far from the earth. This was first revealed during a research conducted by a student studying at a university in Australia.  This has been revealed in a study conducted on the waves emitted from it. However, no further details have been revealed.

Addressing the conference, Ports Minister Rohitha Abeygunawardena said that a new breakwater would be constructed near the Galle Port. Under this, forty new hectares will be owned by the Galle Harbor. Police say that the gold plated necklace worn on the statue has been looted after the statue erected inside a Christian church in the Poololi area in the Point Pedro Police Division in Jaffna was damaged by someone on the 25th night The bomber struck shortly after noon in front of a church in St. Thomas’ Catholic Church, south of Puloli. Decision on power cuts will be taken today

The Public Utilities Commission (PUC) says it will decide today (27) whether to allow a power cut. Its chairman Janaka Ratnayake said the commission would meet this afternoon to review the power crisis in the country and decide whether there was a need for a power cut. The body of a woman found in the Mahaweli River

  The body of a dead woman has been found in the Mahaweli River in the Ilwatura area in Gampola. Police said the identity of the deceased woman has not yet been confirmed.  The deceased has been identified as a 50- to 55-year-old woman, police said.  A handbag suspected to be that of the woman had also fallen near the river and nearly Rs. 15,000 and several drugs had been found in it. Gampola Police OIC Chief Inspector Laksiri Fernando who arrived at the scene said that messages about the woman had been sent to the surrounding police stations and further investigations were being carried out. The body is being kept at the Gampola Hospital morgue and the Gampola Police are conducting further investigations.

Public health inspectors warn the public

According to the Association of Public Health Inspectors, the number of people being hospitalized is on the rise, as is the number of daily cases of covid 19. The association also said that the wards that were given to covid patients in many hospitals are now being given to other patients and the capacity of the hospital is being exceeded. However, the hospital authorities have been instructed to increase the capacity of the hospitals as per the need, said the Deputy Director of Health Services, Dr Hemantha Herath.
