Sri Lanka still sells fuel at a lower price than India- Central Bank Governor

Central Bank Governor Ajith Nivard Cabraal says Sri Lanka still sells fuel at a lower price than India.

He points out that a liter of premium petrol which costs 264 rupees in India sells for 210 rupees in Sri Lanka.

He also says the exchange crisis cannot be subsidized to stay longer. He added that controlling the supply of fuel would reduce the flow of foreign exchange for fuel.
