A child was killed when a train traveling from Galle to Mt. Lavinia collided with him near the Aluthgama railway station yesterday (18) morning.

 The deceased was a 9-year-old boy residing in the Dharga Town area of ​​Main Street. The body has been placed at the Nagoda Hospital morgue in Kalutara.

 Aluthgama Police are conducting further investigations.
