An increase in covid infections and deaths?

 For the third day in a row, the number of covid-19 cases crossed the 700 mark yesterday (13).

716 new infections were identified yesterday (13), Army Commander General Shavendra Silva said. The number of daily covid-19 infections has crossed the 700 mark since the 11th and 718 cases have been identified on the 9th.

Accordingly, the total number of covid infections in the country has increased to 549,500, according to the Government Information Department.

Of these, 523,503 have been cured and another 12,025 are being treated. The Association of Family Psychiatrists says there has been a clear increase in the number of cases of cover infection reported in the past week compared to the previous week.
