Trade Minister Bandula Gunawardena says that a tax of around 5% should be imposed on all those whose monthly income exceeds Rs. 100,000.

He said the tax should be imposed to maintain public facilities such as education and health in the face of corona expansion.

The Minister said this while participating in a program on Derana Rupavahini.
