An individual has been arrested in the Badalkumbura area for posting child pornography on the internet.
The raid was carried out by the Police Children and Women’s Bureau. Police Media Spokesman, Senior DIG Ajith Rohana stated that about 500 obscene videos and photographs have been released on the internet.
It is reported that the suspect has been using two fake accounts to add pornographic videos to the internet on a daily basis.
The arrested suspect is a 25 year old man and is due to be produced before the Colombo Chief Magistrate’s Court today (07).
