A message from the police to those traveling in small vehicles

Nine deaths have been reported in road accidents in the past 24 hours seven of the deaths were on motorcycles and the other two were people traveling in three-wheelers. police said.

Police Media Spokesman, Senior DIG Ajith Rohana stated that people traveling in small vehicles are more likely to be involved in road accidents.

About 40 people a day are injured in road accidents and accordingly, those traveling in small vehicles should travel on safer roads, Senior DIG Ajith Rohana further said.
