Sri Lanka’s Organic Fertilizer project is affecting the world

President Gotabhaya Rajapaksa has said that eight major European countries, including Germany and Switzerland, have come forward to assist Sri Lanka in the production of organic fertilizer, Minister Johnston Fernando said.

During the Cabinet meeting, His Excellency the President, as well as the Minister of Agriculture Mahindananda Aluthgamage, informed us that eight major European countries including Germany and Switzerland have come forward to support us in the production of organic fertilizer. His Excellency the President informed us that those countries would extend their fullest support to us, Johnston Fernando said.

This is a very good message for our country. They say that if the production of organic fertilizer in our country fails, it will affect the whole world. That other country will not be able to take this forward, he further added.

Minister of Highways Johnston Fernando expressed these views while participating in an inspection tour to That other country status of the Wayamba Water strain Development Project.
