A leading rice trader in Polonnaruwa has bought a helicopter.

It is reported that the helicopter, which was recently purchased for the travel needs of the large scale rice trader, has been purchased from a private company in Colombo for Rs. 110 million.

He has also employed an engineer and a pilot for the aircraft which was parked at the Hingurakgoda Air Force Base.
