Muslims attend to Friday prayers violating quarantine laws in Jaffna

Jaffna Public Health Inspectors have taken steps to quarantine all those who attended a prayer at a Muslim shrine in the sahindu Junction area in Jaffna in violation of existing restrictions and quarantine laws.

Health officials have revealed that about 14 people attended the prayer, which was banned during ceremonies and services.

The Jaffna Health Inspector’s Office further stated that those identified as those who participated in the prayers will be quarantined within the mosque and the rest will be quarantined at home.
