Two suspects were arrested for selling liquor on a Vesak poya day

Two suspects were arrested on the 26th for selling liquor at high prices without a government-approved license to residents of the area on Vesak Poya day violating quarantine instructions.

The suspect who was arrested in the Siripura area in Bogawantalawa was selling 83 bottles of liquor at his house while the other suspect was arrested while transporting 20 bottles of liquor to the”Tinsin” area in Bogawantalawa, the OIC said.
