Sri Lanka still has space to store dead bodies until autopsy reports received.

Colombo Chief Judicial Specialist Dr Ajith Tennakoon says that although there is no current situation of corona dead bodies piling up, such a situation can occur is possible in the future.

He added that several freezer containers have already been set up to store bodies until they receive autopsy reports, as the number of corona infected people who died at home is likely to rise in the coming days.

He added that all the bodies due to deaths at home and other possible deaths in hospitals
would have to be store in mortuaries until inquiries into deaths were received, which could cause some problems with its space.
