New Travel Guide Sri Lanka (Full Description)

Travel restrictions will be imposed across the country from 11 pm today (May 12) to 11 am every day from 11 pm to 4 am the next day. Also, the travelling will be suspended from 11 pm tomorrow (May 13) to 4 am on Monday (May 17) (May 14, 15, 16). The Director-General of Health Services has issued a new set of health guidelines stating that only one person will be allowed to leave home from tomorrow. The last digit of the person’s National Identity Card number will allow them to leave the house only for an urgent matter. You can leave the house on even days if the last digit is even and if your ID number ends with odd you can go out on odd days.

Island-wide travel restrictions imposed from 11 pm tomorrow

Army Commander General Shavendra Silva says that travel restrictions will be imposed on the entire island from 11 pm tomorrow (May 13) to 4 am on Monday (May 17). The Sri Lanka Medical Association (SLMC) has stated in a meeting with President Gotabhaya Rajapaksa that the country should immediately impose strict travel restrictions in the current situation.
