It is reported that the corona treatment facility at the Anuradhapura Teaching Hospital, which was reserved for corona patients, was overcrowded.

The 130 beds reserved for the average corona patient in that unit are filled and the six beds in the Intensive Care Unit of the hospital are also infected.

Most of them were identified as corona infected from other districts and sent to Anuradhapura hospital.
