Carcinogenic coconut oil has yet not been found in the market – State Minister Lasantha

Unhealthy carcinogenic coconut oil has been found in the market so far; Lasantha Alagiyawanna, Minister of State for Consumer Protection said.

The 109 samples of coconut oil obtained from all districts did not contain any chemicals harmful to the human body; Minister further said.

Therefore, the Minister of State instructs the people to consume the coconut oil available in the market without any fear.
