The Police Headquarters has issued a special circular to all Police stations to prevent the spread of the corona virus which is increasing day by day in the country.

Police say the public as well as the authorities are not following proper health advice. Due to this, special operations will be launched under the circular from today, said Police Media Spokesman, DIG Ajith Rohana.

DIG Ajith Rohana said that police will inspect shops, public transport and other locations and for people were found not wearing face masks or maintaining social distancing.
