The container ship ” Ever green” that has been stuck in the Suez Canal for six days was reportedly back afloat on yesterday (March28)night.

the maritime services provider Inchcape released a social media statement on Twitter saying that Ever Green was successfuly refloated and the ship is secured at the moment.

In total of 14 tugs were used to move the ship and more than 950,000 cubic feet of sand removed and dug down nearly 60 feet.

It is reported that more than 369 ships were delayed due to this insident. (New York Post)
