Former Sri Lankan fast bowler Chaminda Vaas
agreed to continue to consult as a fast bowling coach for Sri Lanka National Cricket Team, Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) has decided this after a meeting between the SLC Management team and Chaminda vaas.

The appointment will be officially announced to the media in the coming days, the President of SLC satates while convening a press conference in yesterday (March 25)

Previously Chaminda Vaas appointed as the consultant for Sri lankak National team for the upcoming West Indies tour on February 19, as the former consultant David Saker stepped down from the posision few days before the West Indies tour.

But Chaminda Vaas announced to resign from the position on 22nd March few hours befre the team leave the country for the tour.
