A Military bus was strikes by Kandy-Colombo Fort express train at the Wanawasala railway crossing in Kelaniya today morning ( March 1).

A lottery ticket seller and a person who came to buy tickets had critically injureds. Then they have been admitted to the Colombo National Hospital for further treatment.

The eye witnessed explained that bus had attempted to cross the railway line ignoring active signal lights. Then it got strucked by speeding train andcrashed into nearby lottry ticket selling shop and to a house. It is reported that there were 3 children’s were inside the house that time. They had escaped when they saw the bus was coming.

Peliyagoda policestation is doing further investigations on the case.
