Quality Assurance Manager - T&G Lanka

Job Description

Company: T&G Lanka (Foreign-owned Electronic / Engineering Company) Location: Free Trade Zone, Katunayake, Sri Lanka Position: Quality Assurance Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of ISO 9001:2015 standards.
• Compile and maintain the Quality Manual, process maps, SOPs, and Wis.
• Define, monitor, and analyze KPIs aligned with business objectives.
• Overlook the smooth functioning of the QC department and ensure compliance for incoming, in-line, and FG QC.
• Approve/create FAIs in coordination with Engineers and handle customer complaints/NCRs.
• Conduct weekly QA briefings with the entire factory.

Essential Criteria:

• Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Manufacturing Engineering.
• At least 2 years of experience in the same role and 5 years of experience with similar responsibilities.
• In-depth knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 and experience conducting internal ISO 9000 audits.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Sinhala.

Non-essential Criteria (Added Advantage):

• Diploma in Quality Management.
• Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, TQM, 5S, Six Sigma, and IPC/WHMA-A-620 standards.
• Experience using Microsoft 365 Business Central or similar ERP systems.
