The Central Bank of Sri Lanka (CBSL) is the premier financial institution in the country. It is currently inviting applications from qualified and experienced Sri Lankan citizens who have served in the regular service of the Tri-Forces or the Special Task Force (STF) of the Sri Lanka Police for the security division.

• Assistant Security Officer (On Contract)
  Requirements
  Educational Qualifications:
• Minimum of 6 passes in the GCE (O/L) examination in one sitting.
  Experience & Rank:
• Service: Minimum 22 years for males and 15 years for females of unblemished and uninterrupted regular service in the Sri Lanka Armed Forces or the STF.
• Rank: Retired Non-Commissioned Officers in the rank of Sergeant/Petty Officer or above (Tri-Forces) or Sergeant or above (STF).
• Specializations: Experience in Special Forces, Explosives, Provost, Weapon/Physical Training, Fire & Safety, or Intelligence will be an added advantage.
  Physical & Age Requirements (as of 22.03.2026):
• Male: Age 40–45 years | Height: 167.5 cm (5' 6") | BMI: 20–27 | Chest: 81.3 cm (32").
• Female: Age 35–40 years | Height: 162.5 cm (5' 4") | BMI: 17–25.
  Benefits
• Monthly Allowance: An all-inclusive taxable monthly allowance of Rs. 100,000.00.
• Retirement Contributions: Contributions to EPF and ETF.
• Contract Term: Initial 1-year contract, renewable up to a maximum of 3 years based on performance.
