Sri Lankan Economy crisis :Protesters are refusing to accept a temporary solution.(Footage)

Since the weekend, protests have erupted across Sri Lanka against the government’s failure to effectively manage the economy and a shortage of basic necessities. These demonstrators have demanded that President Gotabaya Rajapaksa step down, as well as his government. Sri Lankan President Gotabaya Rajapaksa offered ministerial seats to all political parties on Monday (4), urging them to work together to resolve the country’s issue. His suggestion came a day after Wimal Weerawansa, one of his former ministers, proposed forming an all-party interim administration to resolve the problem. The Sri Lanka Freedom Party, one of the key political parties in the current coalition, warned on Sunday (3) that if a caretaker administration is not appointed, all SLFP members will be fired. Russia Ukraine war :The blast shakes Odessa

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has warned that Russia hopes to capture southeastern Ukraine, launching a missile attack on the strategic Black Sea port of Odesa. Ukraine says it has regained control of “the whole of Kiev” after Russian troops withdrew from major cities near the Ukrainian capital.  The mayor of Bucha, near Kiev, says 300 people have been buried in the city’s mass grave and the streets are littered with the bodies of people killed by Russian forces.  Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy says retreating Russian troops are clearing landmines and creating a “catastrophic” situation. Ukraine’s top negotiator says Russia has “orally” agreed to key Ukrainian resolutions. Fires were reported in Odessa after the airstrikes The airstrikes shook the strategic Black Sea port city of Odessa, and officials and journalists reported wildfires in some areas. Odessa was attacked from the air, ”Anton Hereshchenko, an adviser to the interior minister, wrote in his Telegram account.  “Forest fires were reported in some areas. Some of the missiles were dropped by air defense. An AFP reporter heard explosions in the southwestern city at 6:00 am (GMT 0300). The blast sent at least three strips of black smoke, apparently in an industrial area. A soldier near the scene of one of the attacks said it could be a rocket or a missile.  Explosions heard at Odesa: Reuters Reuters reports that a series of explosions were heard and smoke was seen in the southern Ukrainian port city of Odessa on Sunday morning. No official information has been received about the attack.

Media Minister will resigned from the post?

Power cut time will be reduced in coming days

The Public Utilities Commission (PUCSL) says it will significantly reduce power cuts in the coming days. Its Chairman Janaka Ratnayake stated that a written confirmation has been received from the Secretary to the Ministry of Power and Energy that a quantity of fuel will be allocated for power generation on behalf of the Ceylon Electricity Board. Accordingly, 12,000 metric tons of diesel is to be received today (03) under Indian loans, he said. Its Acting General Manager Dr. Rohantha Abeysekera said that the power plant is currently receiving the required stocks of diesel. Accordingly, steps will be taken to commence operations at the power plant soon, he said. The Kerawalapitiya power plant, which commenced power generation yesterday, has added 270 megawatts to the national grid.

Social media blocked in Sri lanka

In Sri Lanka, there are barriers to accessing social media networks through internet service providers since yesterday. A number of social networking sites have been blocked, including Facebook, YouTube, WhatsApp, Viber, Twitter and Instagram. A nationwide curfew imposed
