Saudi Crown Prince Approved the Operation to Capture or Kill the Journalist Jamal Khashoggi.

United States intelligence report on killing the journalist Jamal Khashoggi in 2018. The report released yesterday and it states that saudi prince Mohammed bin salman approved the operation to Capture or kill the journalist.

Jamal Khashoggi was US resident and reason for his murder was a column article he wrote to Washington post criticizing the policies of the crown prince. So team operated by the crown prince killed and dismembered.

Director of the national intelligence states in the report posted on official web site ;
“We assess that Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman approved an operation in Istanbul, Turkey to capture or kill Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi,”

Also it states that “We base this assessment on the crown prince’s control of decision-making in the kingdom, the direct involvement of a key adviser and members of Mohammed bin Salman’s protective detail in the operation, and the crown prince’s support for using violent measures to silence dissidents abroad, including Khashoggi,”

But the government of Saudi arabia completely rejected the report.
