The government has given up control of the prices of 17 items.Price decision in the hands of traders

The government has removed the maximum price imposed on 17 essential food items including sugar, dhal, potatoes, wheat flour, milk powder, chicken, big onions, canned fish and maize.

The government has issued a new gazette notification removing the control price of 17 essential items. Accordingly, their prices are to be decided by the traders.
