Two or three times as many infected people in the society as identified. Impose maximum travel restrictions – Sri Lanka Medical Association

The number of corona patients diagnosed daily is approaching 2,000, but two to three times as many are at large in the community, according to the Ceylon Medical Association.

Its chairman specialist Dr. Padma Gunaratne points out that the number of hospital beds reserved for corona patients is increasing rapidly and the intensive care units are also filling up.

She also requested for maximum travel restrictions because hospitals are filling up rapidly.
