Available Vacancies

The campus is currently recruiting for the following positions:

• Management Assistant (Grade III): Requires G.C.E (O/L) in 6 subjects with credit passes in Sinhala/Tamil, English, and Mathematics, plus G.C.E (A/L) passes. Preference is given to those with computer application qualifications and experience.
• Support & Service Roles (Grade III): This includes positions for Works Aide, Security Guard, Groundsman, and Library Attendant. Applicants must have passed G.C.E (O/L) in 6 subjects with at least 2 credit passes.
• Postmortem Labourer (Grade III): Applicants should have sat for the G.C.E (O/L) examination.
• Nursing Officer (Grade II - Contract): Requires G.C.E (O/L) with credit passes in 3 subjects and a recognized certificate of competence as a Nurse from the Sri Lanka Medical Council. Retired Nursing Officers are encouraged to apply.

Key Information for Applicants

• Age Limits:

  • Management Assistant: 18–30 years.
  • Other Grade III posts (Works Aide, Security, etc.): 18–45 years.

• Salary Scales: Positions are subject to the salary scales defined in Management Services Circular No. 06/2025 and Commission Circular No. 02/2025 (i).
• Citizenship: All applicants must be citizens of Sri Lanka of excellent moral character.

3. Hard Copy Submission: Send your printed application, along with the bank slip and copies of educational/professional certificates, to the Assistant Registrar, Establishments Division, Trincomalee Campus, Eastern University, Sri Lanka, Konesapuri, Nilaveli.
