It has been revealed that the persons who attacked the car of the Leader of the JVP Anura Dissanayake have been given Rs. 5,000.

During the interrogation of the detainees regarding the attack, they stated that a businessman in Colombo had paid them Rs. 5,000 and directed them to this place.

The two have been arrested by the Nittambuwa Police and are being questioned.

 According to unofficial sources, the group was led by a powerful minister and a powerful businessman from the Gampaha area.
