A foreigner who was traveling in a parachute fell and was injured, reports say from the Lulkandura area.

Police said that the parachute had landed in the Ralimangoda area when it had fallen into a tree about 30 feet high.

The foreigner injured in the accident has been admitted to the Kandy Hospital.

The victim was a 35-year-old Russian national. Galaha Police are conducting further investigations.
