The Geological Survey and Mines Bureau says that a special investigation has been launched into the minor earthquake that occurred near the Victoria Dam yesterday (June 16).

A magnitude 1.94 earthquake shook the Victoria Dam yesterday afternoon, The Geological Survey and Mines Bureau reported.

However, the Geological Survey and Mines Bureau said there was no need to be unduly apprehensive in this regard.
