It is reported that some members of the Sri Lanka People’s Front have protested against the increase in fuel prices with effect from last night.
Government sources say that they will protest against this and express their views in future.
Meanwhile, Dr. Mahinda Pathirana, Chairman of the Sri Lanka People’s Press Council, who is also a close activist of the Sri Lanka People’s Front, has made a note of questioning the Minister of Energy through his social media account.
