Nishantha Sandabarana, the Chairman of ‘Lak Lunu’ states that the racketeering businessmen are trying to create a shortage of salt in the country.

He said that the damage caused to the ship in front of the Port of Colombo did not add any adverse effects to the production of salt and that he requested the people to eat salt without any fear or suspicion.

He also says not to create unnecessary commotion as there are enough stocks.

He said these while joining to an interview with a youtube channel.
