The Chairman of the DP Jayasinghe Group of Companies businessman Upali Jayasinghe has fallen and injured while walking.

CCTV footage had caught him collapsed after falling unconscious during his routine evening walk.

He was later hospitalized at Colombo National Hospital and later transferred to a private hospital. He is currently receiving treatment at the Intensive Care Unit of the hospital.

He is the husband of popular actress Sabitha Perera.

The incident took place on a highway in the Cinnamon Gardens area yesterday afternoon.
