There should be a nightlife in our country and if they do not, why do whites come?; Parliament Minister Diana Gamage stated. Three districts are in high danger-Public Health Inspectors Association.
Public Health Inspectors Association stated that three districts including Colombo, Gampaha and Kurunegala have become high risk due to record surges of COVID 19 positive cases. Myanmar Military coup- Military chief General Min Aung Hlaing makes first foreign trip since coup
The head of the Myanmar military Min Aung Hlaing is to meet international leaders.This is his first known foreign trip after the army took power with coup on 1 February. However, more than 700 people have been killed in protests against the military government in Myanmar during past few months. This is the first international effort to address the crisis happen in Myanmar and the talks will happen in the Indonesian capital Jakarta. Leaders and foreign ministers from the 10-member Association of South East Asian Nations (ASEAN) will take part in the meeting.

Rishad Bathiudeen and brother arrested
CID arrested former Minister Rishad Bathiudeen and his brother Riaz Bathiudeen were arrested today morning. Police spokesman Ajith Rohana said that the arrest was made in connection with aiding the killers of the Easter attack on 2019-4-21. Rishad Bathiudeen released a video on social media stating that he had not been issued an arrest warrant. He also said that the Parliamentary Speaker was not aware of arresting him as a Member of Parliament and he is not informed on what charge he would be arrested.
